About
Wren Ashby is an editorial and portrait photographer working on location and in the studio.
The work is built on a single idea: one strong light, and a person willing to hold still inside it. Commissions run to editorial features, cover portraits and campaign frames for magazines, brands and agencies.
Alongside commissioned work, an ongoing fine-art practice — figure studies and black & white documentary — is made slowly, printed in small editions, and shown in gallery settings.
Collaboration is the point. Most projects are made with stylists, models, hair and make-up artists, and creative directors, and new introductions are always welcome.
