Wren Ashby is an editorial and portrait photographer working in hard light, deep shadow and very little else.

The commissioned work is made for magazines, brands and agencies — portraits on location and in the studio. Alongside it runs a quieter fine-art practice, printed for gallery walls rather than pages.

Most projects are built with a small crew: stylists, models, hair and make-up artists, creative directors. Collaboration inquiries are as welcome as commissions.
